ITINERARY
DAY 1: 05/12/26, SATURDAY | AIRPORT – COLOMBO
Arrival at Colombo International Airport, meet and assistance by Mola Mola Travel staff in Sri Lanka. Transfer to Colombo, the commercial capital, and enjoy a city tour visiting historic, religious, and commercial sites, including Pettah bustling port, Cinnamon Gardens elite residential area, Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, and more.

DAY 2: 06/12/26, SUNDAY | COLOMBO – BANDARAGAMA – GALLE – MIRISSA
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Bandaragama Agricultural Village to experience authentic rural life, including coconut processing, rubber extraction, and local craft making. Enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan lunch with curries and local sweets.
Continue to Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Portuguese-built fortress, with Dutch colonial buildings and British-era landmarks, including churches, old hospital, governor’s residence, and more.
Dinner and overnight in Mirissa
DAY 3: 07/12/26, MONDAY | MIRISSA – UDAWALAWE – ELLA
We will depart early for the dolphin and whale watching excursion in Mirissa (breakfast will be a picnic-style meal during the excursion). We will return to the hotel to check out and then depart for Udawalawe. Udawalawe National Park is one of the largest and most famous parks in Sri Lanka, with significant flora and fauna, and serves as an important habitat for elephants and waterbirds. The park covers a total area of 30,821 hectares, including Udawalawe Reservoir, which spans 3,405 hectares at full capacity.

DAY 4: 08/12/26, TUESDAY | ELLA – NUWARA ELIYA – KANDY
Breakfast at the hotel. Explore Ella with its mountains, tea plantations, and waterfalls. Visit Little Adam’s Peak and enjoy panoramic hikes.
Continue to Nuwara Eliya, “City of Light,” known for its cool climate, lush scenery, and colonial architecture.
Dinner and overnight in Kandy
DAY 5: 09/12/26, WEDNESDAY | KANDY – MATALE – SIGIRIYA – HABARANA
Breakfast at the hotel. We enjoy a tour of Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage city and the former capital of the last Sinhalese kingdom. We visit the Temple of the Tooth, the palace, the gardens surrounding the temple, and the beautiful man-made lake.
Next, we head to the Matale Spice Garden, famous for its pleasant climate and fragrant spices. We will learn about the production processes of some of Sri Lanka’s finest spices and enjoy a 10-minute Ayurvedic massage.
Then we proceed to Sigiriya Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The rock rises over the jungle at more than 200 meters high, and at its summit are the ruins of a 5th-century royal citadel. On the descent, you can admire the frescoes of the “celestial maidens,” painted with natural pigments on plaster.

DAY 6: 10/12/26, THURSDAY | HABARANA – MINNERIYA – WILPATTU
Morning safari in Minneriya National Park to see elephant herds. Check out from the hotel and continue to Wilpattu National Park, known for its wildlife including leopards. Explore the park in an adapted 4×4.

DAY 7: 11/12/26, FRIDAY | ANAWILUNDA – MUNNESWARAM – NEGOMBO
After breakfast, visit Anawilunda Wetlands Sanctuary, a unique habitat with mangroves, freshwater swamps, coastal saline water, and lakes, home to hundreds of bird species.
Continue to Munneswaram Hindu temple complex (est. 1000 AD), then to Negombo, a historic coastal city with Portuguese and Dutch colonial heritage, “Little Rome” for its many churches, plus lagoon and golden sand beaches.

DAY 8: 12/12/26, SATURDAY | NEGOMBO – COLOMBO AIRPORT
